Nivea Super Mousse Foam Cleanser Review

Nivea Super Mousse Cleanser

When I saw that Nivea is having a promo - buy either the whipped or mousse cleanser and get a chance to see iKON live in KL - I said why not and got myself the super mousse cleanser in all three variants - Hydration, Pearl White and White Oil Clear. Hydration is for Normal to Dry skin, Pearl White (brightening) is for Normal to Combination skin and White Oil Clear (brightening and mattifying) is formulated for Normal to Oily skin.

These mousse cleanser are touted to be 0% soap, so no SLS or SLES, and I’ve tested the pH to be around 5-6, which makes it a really affordable low pH cleanser.

Ingredients:

The bubble is so fluffy! (Note: do shake it first before spraying). I found that all three are heavily perfumed though, I would love for an unscented version. I find it a little drying, but not the squeaky clean really stripping drying. The situation can be easily rectified after using toner + cream.

Cons is def the metal canister that will be hard to recycle, truth is, I don't even know if these are recyclable, and since it's a pressurized container, bringing it on the plane might be tricky.

Overall, a really good low pH cleanser, great when you’re in a pinch or want to try out low pH cleanser without emptying your bank account.

Also! I got to see IKON super close! ><
