Neutrogena Debuts Fashion Collection Inspired by Healthy, Happy Skin
Last month (May 3rd 2017), Neutrogena - yes that skincare brand that everyone must have used at least at one point of their life- debuts their first fashion collection inspired by joy of healthy skin at the Mercedes-Benz STYLO AsiaFashionFestival (MBSTYLOAFF) 2017.
The fashion collection is a collaboration of Neutrogena and two of our local designers, Kittie Yiyi and Hazer Wan Lee which features two different styles according to their interpretation of the theme.

Kittie Yiyi graduated from Raffles Design Institute KL, and her quirky sense of humor often translate to her works, which are joyful, loud and smart. Her Happy Skin 24/7 collection is inspired by the quintessential beach girl on a holiday. Coming from a faraway beach land, she wanders into the city in her flowy, comfy loose-fitting outfits. Her happiness is infectious – and it shows in the way she dresses. Featuring flared silhouettes, ruffles, cheerful stripes and heart-shaped prints, the collection flaunts the beach girl’s confidence in her own skin with transparent details and cut-outs.

Hazer Wan Lee, creative director at HWL by Hazer Wan Lee Fashion Atelier Kuala Lumpur is inspired by the water splash -- a signature of Neutrogena® Deep Clean range of cleansing products, and the first step to Happy Skin 24/7! Fluid lines and cascading layers come together to bring out the beauty and energy of water in hues of blue, green, orange and pink. The clever incorporation and layering techniques of different materials such as denim, organdy, PU leather, cotton silk and dyed fabrics results in a unique 3D effect that mimics the movements of water. The Deep Clean range is one of my favorite line (especially the oil to foam cleanser) and I'm excited to see the range translated into fashion design.

I was also intrigued on why Neutrogena decided to debut a fashion collection to promote their new skincare line. According to Teo, “It’s undeniable that women and fashion go hand in hand.
